College is the time to explore interests and take advantage of all the opportunities that present themselves in the next four years. You will be exposed to people from all over the country and often other parts of the world. Get involved, seek out things that interest you and make an effort to be apart of something bigger than you.

Now that you’re heading to college…what should you bring?

My daughter is heading to college this year as a freshman. After some research, I have put together a list of things you need to bring or at least coordinate with your roommate so there are no duplicates. My daughter has a suite with a small kitchen, so this list may be a little different than for those in standard dorm rooms or larger apartments. This is just a general check list so add or subtract accordingly!
